The past three weeks have been a whirlwind. I can't thank everyone enough for the warm reception I've received as the new CEO of Alida. It is an honor to lead Alida and be part of what will become an amazing growth story in the CXM market. I love working alongside our customers to drive solid outcomes, and I already feel a powerful connection with our employees, partners, and clients as we continue our transition to a leader in the customer experience management (CXM) field. Becoming an innovator and a growth SaaS business in the CXM space is our "True North".

 

I’ve been captivated by everyone’s passion for our clients—clearly we are a customer-centric culture. This is so important and it's amazing to see that focus and  commitment. When we put our customers at the center of everything we do as a business, great things happen: for our employees, for our shareholders, and of course for our clients. I am also delighted and energized by the strength and depth of our industry focus in media, tech, health care, financial services, and ecommerce/retail/CPG. Alida is at an important inflection point in our history and leveraging our heritage in driving business value within the key industries will be essential to achieving a growth agenda. CXM is a red-hot space for software as we look to 2020 and beyond. Our global footprint is strong. The Alida Sparq product foundation is serving our clients every day. We have a loyal and committed customer base that is growing with us. And finally, we have close to 400 passionate and committed VCers who are ready for an adventure. This is what I am truly excited about!

This is where the fun part for me begins. With the help of our team, I plan on taking our strong foundation and driving a focused and disciplined approach across sales, marketing, and of course, product development. Our insight community differentiation is a winning platform, and focusing on the execution of that passion (while having fun) is where I plan to take us. This is our special gift, and now we will leverage our strengths, be bold, and tackle the CXM market with no apologies!

In closing, I look forward to sharing updates along the way as we roll up our sleeves in the new year and dive in. In the meantime, on behalf of all of us at Alida, we wish you all the best for a joyous and relaxing holiday season spent with those who matter most.
