Alida Wraps Customer Experience EMEA Conference, Announces 2020 "Delta Award" Winners

The Alida Activate EMEA virtual conference shared revolutionary insights from customer experience industry leaders

LONDON, UK -- 11th November 2020 -- Alida (formerly Vision Critical), creator of the world’s first CXM and insights platform, hosted the inaugural Alida Activate EMEA virtual customer experience (CX) conference on November 10, 2020. The Alida Activate conferences are a series of interactive and virtual conferences spanning the globe through 2021 and featuring speakers from over 25 leading brands. The first virtual conference was launched in North America on October 20 and 21, 2020. Over 340 session registrants joined the EMEA event to hear from CX innovators, out-of-the-box thinkers, and customer experience masters and learn how to put their customers’ truth at the heart of everything they do.

Previously known as the Vision Critical Insights Days, the new Alida Activate conference series focuses on improving customer experience through the ‘Power of &’, showcasing how world-class brands are combining CXM and insights to make actionable business decisions across a number of industries and use-cases. 

The Alida Activate EMEA conference included interactive sessions led by current Alida customers that pioneer industry-leading and innovative customer experiences, including ASOS, Twitter, Majid Al Futtaim, Virgin Money UK, Kramp, Ocean Outdoor, and Gamesys Group. Topics encompassed how to scale your community and make CX an organisation-wide priority, how to use processes and technology to turn aspirations of customer-centricity into a reality, and how to drive value during COVID-19 and tie the efforts back to quantifiable business metrics.

Alida CEO Ross Wainwright and President of Products Riaz Raihan also delivered keynote presentations to support attendees in proving the value of their CX and insights initiatives. Wainwright shared how brands in today’s market can put customers at the heart of their businesses, and Raihan addressed how combining deep insights and broad feedback can transform your business and how you think about customer experience.

Delta Awards

The event closed with Alida’s first-ever Delta Awards, honouring the stories and talent of Alida’s most innovative customers across Europe and the Middle East. The ‘Deltas’ recognize the changemakers and pioneers in the customer experience and insights world - those whose work is creating tangible business outcomes in real-time.
